Hearing protection and respiratory protection for most work situations are not covered by these Regulations because other regulations apply to them. However, these items need to be compatible with any other personal protective equipment. Make sure that anyone using personal protective equipment is fully trained on how to use this equipment and that it is well maintained and stored.
